Creative Director Marco Frezza visits 3-1-5 X-Force in Lancaster after 7 days of reopening to see how Fit4Access is helping bring back more members…
It’s Friday 31st July, just 7 days after Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport told leisure clubs in England they could open from the 25th July.
Marco is in Lancaster to see now club owner Sean Thornton and his staff at 3-1-5 X-Force are benefiting from Fit4Access.
“I arrived just after 9am and was met by Sean and club manager, Deena at the main entrance. Whilst introducing myself and before I could ask how it was all going, it was great to see fit4access passes being shown by members as they confidently entered the club!”
Fit4Access is a new online Health and Safety learning platform. It engages members to understand everything you’re doing to keep them safe during Covid-19 and checks members are free of Covid-19 symptoms before they come back.
Fit4Access is a great way to reassure members that it’s now safe to return and shows best practice in following the new government guidelines.
The platform was developed with support from ukactive, CIMSPA, Swim England and British Weightlifting to deliver the approved safety measures.
3-1-5 X-Force is an integral part of the community in Lancaster, servicing over 5700 committed members.
Deena – Club Manager says:
“Within 4 to 5 days of reopening, we’ve had over 50% of our members have completed Fit4access already, with absolutely no issues”
Fit4Access has been supported by some of the fitness industries most recognisable bodies
Director and owner, Sean Thornton highlighted how simple the setup process was and can already see the benefits of the reduced administration on the front desk.
“When we went through the whole process, it was so efficient and effective. We actually completed all of the steps within 20 minutes”
Sean goes on to say:
“It was the missing link that provided the necessary paperwork in our sector, provided consistency for every member, completing the same paperwork, in the same format. Easy to administer and easy to complete”
“All the customers now know they need a Fit4Access pass to come back, they find it really easy to set up. It’s just given them the confidence to come back to the gym now.”
